Things are starting to move forward. Well at least from our side! Now that we have the okay to buy the second building, we've been able to take the probing to a slightly different level! There were areas in the building that we needed to see, behind wooden ceilings, brick or plasterboard walls, and cutting a small hole in a wall or ceiling just wasn't enough. We're now removing walls and ceilings, instead of making small holes in them! And having a lot of fun doing it. This, of course, makes it a lot easier to see what we need to see, to be able to plan for what needs to be done, but it also shows us some things that we would have preferred not to have seen.  The one that we already knew about was the chance of asbestos in the buildings. Nach einigen Wochen Funkstille mit relativ wenig Neuigkeiten können wir nun endlich wieder einmal ein echtes Update posten, und zwar mit viel Good News:-) 1.       Vergangenen Montag wurde an der Einwohnerversammlung in Waldenburg zu unseren Gunsten abgestimmt: Wir können das zweite Haus nun definitiv erwerben und unseren Traum von 1+1=1 wahrwerden lassen! Die Fixierung des Bauprojekts schreitet voran, wenn auch etwas langsam. Mit zwei Häusern unter Denkmalschutz (eines auf kantonaler, eines auf Gemeindeebene) sind viele Personen involviert, deren Meinungen es zu berücksichtigen gilt. Flexibilität bei der Planung ist also gefragt! Wir hoffen aber, die Baubewilligung in Kürze einreichen zu können. 2.       Sondieren: Zwischenzeitlich dürfen wir in Absprache mit der Gemeinde auch im zweiten Haus Sondierungen vornehmen. Wir sind also fleissig daran, Böden zu öffnen, Decken herunterzureissen, Täfer zu entfernen, Wände freizulegen etc… Dabei kommen immer wieder Überraschungen zut
