The Waldenburg Chronicles

We're very close, nearly everything that we don't need and can be removed from the house is now gone. Everything has finally been sorted out with the bank. We're nearly at the point where we can start putting new things in. The plans for the heating, water, electricity are close to being finalised. We were at the house again today to take some more pictures, and as we have a cold spell forecast for next week, we had to move some more oil from one heating system to another. Most of the work that has been done in the past week was done on the ground floor, so all of the new images, apart from the last are from there. The last is an image from the 2nd floor with the stairs to the roof removed.                             Next week we have another thrilling visit to a bathroom showroom, a meeting with a kitchen guy, and a meeting with the Architect. Things are definitely moving now. They're moving out the doors and windows, and into skips! For the past week, the rest of what needs to be taken out of the houses is being removed.  The work started at the top so the picture will start there too. When finished this room will be on two levels and around 114m2. It's the master bedroom, with bathroom, wardrobe and some storage space.  3rd Floor / Roof Second Floor. The two rooms at the front of the building are not going to change that much, but the rest is going to move around a bit, and a few new floors are needed. 1st Floor Some parts of the floor are gone at the back of one side, and the front rooms are being used to store doors and stairs. A couple of walls have gone too.                                Ground Floor The work has only just started on this floor, so there is not much to show.             Nothing has been done in the cellars yet so there are no new photos for th
