Each time we go to the houses we seem to find something new. On the last trip, we were removing the rest of the kitchen and the walls. Behind one of the walls was another wall, and on that one was the Einsatzplan for the 1994 Waldenburg Weihnachtsmarkt. After we carried the rest of the electric devices down the very narrow stairs, we made a start on removing the chipboard floor. There were signs that under the chipboard floor was another hard floor with glass flecks in it. There was a hard floor, just not over the entire area. It took the form of where we think that an older room may have been. The left side of the room near the windows was old floorboards, and on the right, nothing but a hole down to the floor below! We removed a lot of large heavy chipboard! So much so that Kathrin didn't want to get out of the way when I was taking the pictures. After taking some planks of wood away that we found under where the fridge was, we found yet another floor.
